Most cooling mats ask something of you. Fill this one with water. Freeze that one overnight. Replace the gel when it stops working. This one asks nothing.

The surface is woven from ice-silk mesh — a fabric that conducts heat away from your pet's body the moment they lie down and disperses it through the weave. There's no gel pack, no liquid, no battery and nothing to plug in. Roll it out and it works, then resets on its own within minutes of them getting up.

Why owners keep it out all summer

  • Nothing to maintain. No refills, no freezer time, no charging. It works the same in June as it does next June.
  • Nothing inside to leak. Because the cooling comes from the fabric rather than a gel filling, there's nothing to puncture and nothing to spill on your floor.
  • Goes where they go. Lies flat on floors, in crates, on car seats and across the end of the couch. Rolls up for travel.
  • Easy to keep clean. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry flat.

Choosing a size

  • 40 × 30 cm — cats and small dogs
  • 50 × 40 cm — most medium breeds
  • 62 × 50 cm — large dogs

When you're between sizes, go up. Pets sprawl, and a mat they hang off the edge of gets ignored.

Available in brown, gray, dark blue, pink and light blue.

Before you order

This ships from our overseas fulfillment partner, so delivery usually takes 10–20 business days. Shipping is free, and you have 30 days from delivery to send it back for a full refund if it isn't right.

A note on safety

The mat is for everyday comfort in warm weather. It is not a treatment for overheating and not a substitute for veterinary care. If your pet is panting heavily, drooling, disoriented or unsteady, that's a medical emergency — move them somewhere cool and call your vet straight away. The mat also isn't a chew toy; supervise heavy chewers and remove it if the surface is damaged.
